INTRODUCING THE MOWER BLADE REMOVAL ASSISTING TOOL (BRAT)

This new patent pending tool allows you to remove your lawn mower
blades in minutes, by yourself, without an impact wrench. In four simple
steps, you can now easily twist off the nuts which hold your lawn mower
blades, without aggravation, scrapes or bruises.
Better yet, the Mower BRAT pays for itself on the first service call you
would otherwise have incurred.
Step 1.

Place your heavy-duty, flat handle ratchet into the lower handle and
tighten it. We recommend that you extend the ratchet out at least 4 to
5 inches from the edge of the pipe handle. The increase in distance
provides you more leverage. Flip the ratchet directional lever to counter
clockwise.
Do not use a small ratchet; the torque exerted against it will break its
internal gears. Note: Heavy duty ratchet not provided. Use a ratchet
with a flat handle (versus a round handle).

Step 2.

Place the ratchet handle on the left and the blade handle on the
right. Spread them apart. Slide the blade handle on the blade.
With the handles spread apart, the weight of the ratchet handle
will hold the tool vertically. If the BRAT does not stay upright,
you may want to tighten the blade handle by rotating the blade
holder knob. The blade support bracket can accept blades up to
2 3/4 " wide x 1 1/4" high, with lengths of 9 1/2" or greater from
center.
Step 3.

Position ratchet underneath the nut holding the blade and snap
onto the nut. Once again, by keeping the handles apart, the
weight of the ratchet handle will maintain the socket in place
against the nut.
Step 4.

Apply slight down pressure on both handles to keep tool
upright and socket tightly on nut. Move handles back and
forth like a scissor until nut is loose. At this point you may
choose to finish un-twisting the nut by hand or with the
ratchet alone. Slide the Mower BRAT out.

IT'S TIME YOU PUT THE BRAT TO WORK
